Mission Statement

The mission of the Craig Spence Foundation is to positively impact the lives of youth in Chatham Kent by providing financial support for educational and athletic endeavors to those in need in the community.

About the Foundation

A GoFundMe page was initially created by a family friend in April 2024 to help the family with funeral costs. Generous donations came in from near and far from so many people that Craig touched. The giving spirit of the community during the family’s time of need was overwhelming. It was ultimately decided that the best use of the donations was to put them back into the community so that more kids in Chatham Kent could have access to the same opportunities in sports and academics that Craig and his siblings had. And from that, the Craig Spence Foundation was formed.
